It was recently announced that Rise of The Tomb Raider will be exclusive to the XBOX One for an entire year. After E3 this year I made the point that console tribalism isn’t good for the industry and that both the XBOX One and PS4 were becoming more distinct platforms with different identities and target audiences. This weeks episode of the AMC’s The Walking Dead entitled “Them” was a gritty episode full of good character development and soul searching. The character Maggie, played by Lauren Cohan, looked especially menacing and cold, with her hair tied back and furled brow, I couldn’t help but notice how much she looked like the Lara Croft from the recent and fantastic Tomb Raider reboot.
I think she would make an epic Lara Croft, and the new games are ripe with rich story and character arcs. This needs to happen.
